Artist Kate Evans will be here to deliver two new live sessions for parents and carers of pre – school children; one in English, and one in Welsh on our You Tube Channel
Explore sound, language, textures, shapes and colours with your little one in these relaxed, sensory craft sessions.
Covering a different theme each week, the Art Babas sessions are specifically designed for pre-school children from 6 months to 4 years and their grown-ups.
18.05.21 – This Art Babas session explores patterns and mark-making. We’ll be experimenting with paint and using our fingers and objects found around the home to create a shoal of fabulous fancy fish!
You will need:
- Paint (various colours)
- Cardboard and scissors (or simple pre-cut cardboard fish)
- Variety of mark making items to paint with (e.g. fingers, sticks, leaves, forks, sponges, pasta shapes, potato masher, bubble wrap, scrunched paper, feathers, brush, cotton wool buds)
- Plate or tray to mix paints
- Newspaper / Protective cover for your painting area, and apron or old t-shirts for wearing whilst painting recommended!
