10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Glynn Vivian’s collection of Welsh porcelain has been the starting point of artist Andreas Rüthi’s paintings that celebrate and explore both the hallucinogenic power of colour and new possibilities held within the tradition of painting such as playing with the nature of reproduction, imitation, re-presentation and scale.
After training and working as a teacher in his native Switzerland, Andreas Rüthi studied Fine Art in London and Amsterdam. He worked in London for several years in publishing as a translator and art director. From 2008-2017 he was a Senior Lecturer in Fine Art at the USW.
Since 1996 his work has been exhibited in the UK and internationally.
Free entry, no booking required. Everyone welcome.
